Advocacy & Publications
Amplifying Voices. Shifting Society.
At Salal, our advocacy challenges the systems that enable sexualized violence, while our publications share knowledge, research, and survivor-centered perspectives.
Together, they help shift conversations, influence policy, and create lasting change.
Since 1983, we helped create and shape:
- the sexual assault service at BC Women’s Hospital
- the Sex Crimes Unit at the Vancouver Police Department
- the UBC Sexual Assault Support Centre, and
- the Third Party Reporting in BC.
And we are just getting started.
We invite you to explore our most recent projects and publications.
