Water Ceremony Honouring Our Ancestors, Mother Earth, and Each Other

Led by Matriarch Sharon Jinkerson-Brass

The Water Ceremony will be held in community, where we come together to honour water as life, memory, and medicine. Survivors will take part in the ceremony, offering their prayers, stories, and resilience to the waters while being witnessed and held by the community. This is a sacred act of healing, truth, and renewal.

Following the ceremony, we will gather for a feast and a give-away, sharing food, gifts, and gratitude in the spirit of reciprocity and collective care.

Time: 12:00 – 4pm
Where: 1655 William St. Vancouver BC V5L 2R3;
The Ceremony will take place in the Canucks Family Education Centre, which is located above Eastside Family Place and beside the playground at Grandview Park.

Registration is not required. Please note that the doors will close at 12:00 to begin the Ceremony.
