In the upcoming series of blog posts WAVAW will be highlighting our work, our challenges and our successes, and what better way to start this series than with a visual illustrating the services provided by WAVAW last year!

Did you know? Last year WAVAW: provided over 550 one-to-one counselling sessions & 77 support group sessions to women hurt by sexual assault answered over 3,100 calls on the 24 hour crisis line supported 80 Aboriginal Youth in their leadership development & knowledge of the root causes of violence conducted over 80 educational outreach events provided 125 accompaniments for women to the hospital, court hearings, and police interviews provided more than 6,000 services to women, youth & community members
