We are getting ready to launch SOLD 2023! From February 17th to 19th, 2023, our community will be able to generously bid on donated services and items from local aestheticians, artists, businesses, hoteliers, jewellers, and much much more! Every dollar from the auction benefits survivors of sexualized violence accessing Salal‘s wrap-around services; from crisis care through our 24-Hour Crisis & Information Line, to Individual Counselling, to emotional support and advocacy during Court, Hospital, and Police Accompaniments! We are with survivors every step of the way.

Last year, 154 folks from our community placed over 850 bids on the 100+ items included in the auction, raising a total of $14,691! We were just shy of our $15,000 goal! This year, we are hoping to sustain Salal‘s life-saving services by beating this goal, and we’re in great shape to do so! So far, we’ve received an outpouring of generosity from our community and are lined up to offer over 140 lots, totalling over 200 items for you to win!

The auction will open at 8:00 AM PST on Friday, February 17th, and close at 7:30 PM PST on Sunday, February 19th. Be sure to keep an eye on your bids right until the last moment – if you snooze, you might lose!

We ensure that our programs will reach those who need them most, and we are dedicated to removing barriers that survivors face in accessing our services.

When we consider accessibility, we want to embody it in all areas of our work – including fundraising! This is why we’re so excited to host SOLD because it not only offers businesses and artists the opportunity to donate without making a financial contribution, but our community has the chance to support survivors by shopping! All SOLD items will be offered at accessible starting bids so that our community has a chance to get their hands on anything from candles, clothing, spiritual guidance, events, and much much more!
